To charge the RK96, please order separately: the CipherLab BPOWER0000142 USB power adapter with USB-A to USB-C cable – charges the device directly via its USB-C port; or the CipherLab ARK95CCCNU201 charging/communication cradle with its micro-USB cable, powered by a USB power adapter such as the CipherLab BPOWER0000142.

- Enterprise barcode scanning – the SE5800 extended-range imager reads 1D/2D barcodes quickly and reliably, even when damaged or poorly printed.
- Physical keypad – 38-key function numeric keypad for fast, eyes-free data entry, alongside the touchscreen and programmable scan triggers.
- E-ink display on the back – a 1.3" colour e-paper display shows asset or user information, even when the device is switched off.
- Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 – tri-band 802.11be with Multi-Link Operation and 320 MHz channels for fast, stable connections in busy warehouses.
- Enterprise Android – Qualcomm QCS6690 octa-core processor, up to 2.9 GHz, 8 GB RAM / 128 GB Flash with microSD slot, Android 15 with Google Mobile Services (GMS) (upgradable to Android 18) and a 16 MP camera with LED flash.
- 4.3" WVGA touchscreen – 480 × 800, readable outdoors, Corning Gorilla Glass; works with gloves, wet fingers and a stylus.
- 7000 mAh battery – 14+ hours of operation per charge; hot-swappable, so you can change it without shutting the device down.
- Rugged and sealed – IP65, multiple 1.8 m drops to concrete (2.4 m with rubber boot) and 1,000 tumbles at 1 m; operating temperature from −20 °C to 50 °C.
- NFC – built-in 13.56 MHz HF RFID/NFC reader (ISO 14443A/B, ISO 15693, FeliCa) for badges, tags and contactless applications.
- Backward compatible – works with RK95 accessories such as the charging cradle and the 4-slot and 20-slot battery chargers.
- Easy deployment and management – CipherLab ReMoCloud, Reader Configuration, AppLock and terminal emulation; supports SOTI MobiControl, Workspace ONE and Ivanti.
