Zebra DS2278-HC Wireless Barcode Scanner (DS2278-HC0000BZZRW)

The Zebra DS2278-HC is the healthcare version of Zebra's cordless DS2278 Bluetooth® 2D handheld barcode scanner. Its disinfectant-ready Healthcare White housing is designed to withstand the constant wipe-downs with hospital disinfectants that the point of care demands, and it reads virtually every 1D and 2D barcode used in hospitals, laboratories and pharmacies – from patient wristbands and medication vials to IV bags, specimen trays and barcodes on phone screens. The 2,400 mAh battery easily lasts a full 14-hour shift, the scanner pairs with PCs, tablets and smartphones with a single scan, and it is backed by a 3-year (36-month) Zebra warranty. This version, DS2278-HC0000BZZRW, is supplied as the scanner only (with its installed battery) – no cradle and no charging cable are included.
