The Datalogic QuickScan QM2500 is a cordless 2D handheld barcode scanner that uses Datalogic's 433 MHz STAR radio instead of Bluetooth – for a reliable, interference-free connection even in busy shops with heavy Wi-Fi and Bluetooth traffic. Its 1 MP imager reads 1D, 2D and Digimarc codes from paper labels and phone screens, with Datalogic's Green Spot good-read confirmation. A removable 3250 mAh battery lasts for approx. 115,000 reads per charge, and the BC2090-BK-433 base station charges the scanner and connects it to your PC or POS via USB, USB-C or RS-232. It comes with a 5-year Datalogic warranty. This version, QM2500-BK-433, is black and is supplied with the BC2090-BK-433 base station – an interface cable is not included.

⚠️ An interface cable is required: the BC2090 base connects to your PC or POS – and receives its power – through a Datalogic interface cable, which is not in the box. Order the Datalogic USB cable 90A052258 (straight, 2 m) (or the coiled USB cable 90A052285 or USB-C cable 90A052352), or choose the QM2500-BK-433K1 kit, which already includes the USB cable.
💡 Linking is simple: place the scanner in the base station and it links automatically – no pairing codes or Bluetooth setup. The QM2500 works only with its 433 MHz STAR base (one scanner per base, up to 30 m in open air); it cannot connect directly to a PC, tablet or smartphone. The scanner can also be charged through its USB-C port.
💡 The base doubles as a charging stand on the counter. Need a wall or desk holder, or a second battery for multi-shift use? Add the Datalogic holder HLD-Q040-BK or a spare battery RBP-QBT25-BK.
