Spring loading keeps the device secure in transit, and the supplied clamping arms are easy to install and adjust without blocking ports or functions – a compact laptop can even be held with the screen up or down. Its 4-hole AMPS pattern (30 × 38 mm) connects it to hundreds of RAM mounting systems for cars, boats, planes and more.

📦 What's in the box – RAM-234-6

Tough-Tray II holder – spring-loaded, for devices 217–284 mm (8.56–11.2") wide

Clamping arms – assorted retaining arms

Mounting hardware – 4× machine screw #8-32 x 5/8", 4× nyloc nut #8-32

💡 To get started, you might also consider a round AMPS ball plate with a C-size double socket arm and base, or the RAM No-Drill universal vehicle mount with AMPS plate.

View accessories →

Key Features

Spring-loaded tray – width range 217–284 mm (8.56–11.2");
