TSC DH240 / DH340 Desktop Label Printer

The TSC DH240 / DH340 is a 4-inch direct thermal desktop label printer for shipping, picking, retail and laboratory labels that do not need a ribbon. The DH240 prints at 203 dpi and the DH340 at 300 dpi, and every version has USB, RS232 and Ethernet, so it can work with a single PC or be shared on the network. Versions differ in control panel, media handling and housing, including linerless and white healthcare (HC) models.

Linerless versions print on labels without backing paper, so there is no liner waste. None of the versions listed here has built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

DH240 or TH240?

Choose the DH240 / DH340 when labels only need to last weeks or months, such as shipping and picking labels, and you do not want to stock or change ribbons. Choose the TH240 / TH340 when labels must stay readable for years or are made of synthetic material: it prints thermal transfer with a ribbon and is also available with a UHF RFID encoder and Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
