Datalogic Heron HD3130 Barcode Scanner (HD3130-BK)

The Datalogic Heron HD3130 is a stylish corded 1D linear imager designed for modern point-of-sale checkouts, especially in fashion and specialty retail. Its distinctive design, in-mold decorated top cover, colour-changing LEDs and polyphonic speaker make it a real eye-catcher on the counter, while the CCD linear imager reliably reads all standard 1D barcodes at up to 270 scans per second. The scanner comes with a stand and switches automatically between handheld and hands-free scanning. This version, HD3130-BK, is supplied with the AutoSense stand but without an interface cable – the cable must be ordered separately.

Key Features

• 1D linear imager – reads all standard 1D barcodes, including GS1 DataBar, at up to 270 scans per second with resolution down to 4 mil. Please note: it does not read 2D codes such as QR codes or Data Matrix; for those, choose the 2D model Datalogic Heron HD3430.
• Comfortable reading range – up to 40 cm on 13 mil barcodes and up to 60 cm on 20 mil barcodes – ideal for the checkout counter.
• Handheld or hands-free – the stand is included, and the scanner switches automatically between handheld and hands-free operation.
• Datalogic Green Spot – a green spot projected onto the barcode helps with aiming and confirms every good read, even in noisy environments.
• Eye-catching, customisable design – in-mold decorated top cover (carbon-fibre or silver design), colour-changing LEDs on the sides and top and a polyphonic speaker; for larger orders the scanner can be customised with your logo, top cover and light and sound feedback (minimum order quantities apply).
• Multi-interface – USB, RS-232 and keyboard wedge in one scanner, the interface is selected by the cable; 5 VDC input; easy setup with the free Datalogic Aladdin tool and OPOS/JavaPOS utilities.
• Built for daily use – IP40 sealed, withstands repeated 1.5 m drops to concrete and works in lighting of up to 100,000 lux.
