Honeywell Voyager 1202g Barcode Scanner (1202G-1USB-5)
Regular price 345,89 € +VAT

The Honeywell Voyager 1202g is a cordless Bluetooth® 1D laser barcode scanner built on the platform of the best-selling corded Voyager 1200g. It reads poorly printed and damaged linear barcodes at 100 scan lines per second, gives you up to 10 m of freedom from its base (up to 30 m with clear line of sight), and its tool-free replaceable Li-ion battery lasts 12 hours or more – up to 45,000 scans per charge. A paging button on the base helps you find a misplaced scanner, and the 3-year Honeywell warranty gives peace of mind. Please note: as a 1D laser scanner, it does not read 2D codes such as QR codes, nor barcodes shown on phone screens. This version, 1202G-1USB-5, comes in light grey (ivory) and is the USB kit: it is supplied with the battery, the CCB00 charge and communication base (Bluetooth base) and a 3 m USB cable – everything you need to start scanning cordlessly at your PC or POS.

📦 What's in the box – 1202G-1USB-5

  • ✅ Honeywell Voyager 1202g scanner – light grey (ivory)
  • ✅ Rechargeable battery – Li-ion, 1,800 mAh, replaceable without tools (spare: Honeywell BAT-SCN01A)
  • ✅ Charge and communication base (Bluetooth base) – Honeywell CCB00-010BT-01N – charges the scanner and sends the scanned data to your PC or POS
  • ✅ USB cable – straight, 3 m, Honeywell CBL-500-300-S00 – connects the base to your PC or POS and powers it
  • ❌ Power supply – not included (not needed for USB: the base is powered via the USB cable)

💡 How it works: connect the base to your PC or POS with the USB cable – the interface is detected automatically – and link the scanner to the base once, as described in the Honeywell quick start guide. The base charges the scanner whenever it sits in it and transmits the scanned data via USB (RS232, keyboard wedge and IBM 46xx are possible with other Honeywell cables). Lost the scanner? Press the paging button on the base and the scanner beeps and flashes.

🔌 Optional: the Honeywell power supply PS-05-1000W-C (EU plug) lets the base charge at 1 A instead of 0.5 A from USB (faster charging) and is usually required when the base is connected via RS232.

🔋 Tip: for multi-shift use, keep a charged spare battery Honeywell BAT-SCN01A at hand – it can also be charged in the 4-bay battery charger Honeywell MB4-BAT-SCN01EUD0.

Key Features

  • Aggressive 1D laser scanning – 100 scan lines per second and the proven Voyager laser engine read even poorly printed, damaged and smudged linear barcodes (EAN/UPC, Code 128, GS1-128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, GS1 DataBar and more) at the first attempt.
  • Cordless Bluetooth® freedom – Bluetooth Class 2 (v2.1) radio with adaptive frequency hopping: move up to 10 m from the base in a typical work environment, up to 30 m with clear line of sight – and no cable to trip over.
  • Long battery life – the Li-ion battery provides 12 hours or more of scanning and up to 45,000 scans per charge, recharges in about 4 hours and can be replaced in seconds without tools.
  • Plug and play – the base supports USB, keyboard wedge, RS232 and IBM 46xx (RS485) and detects the interface automatically from the cable, so there is no need to scan programming barcodes.
  • Paging function – press the button on the base and the scanner answers with beeps and flashing lights, so a misplaced scanner is quickly found.
  • Built to last – the scanner withstands 30 drops from 1.5 m to concrete, scanner and base are IP42 sealed, and it comes with a 3-year Honeywell factory warranty.
  • 1D only – please check your barcodes – the Voyager 1202g reads linear barcodes printed on labels, packaging and documents. It does not read QR codes, Data Matrix, PDF417 or other 2D codes, nor barcodes shown on phone screens; for those, choose the cordless Honeywell Voyager XP 1472g 2D scanner.

Ideal Applications

  • Retail checkouts and point of sale with printed EAN/UPC barcodes
  • Scanning bulky items in the shopping cart – as a complement to an in-counter (bioptic) scanner
  • Goods receiving, stocktaking and light manufacturing with printed labels
  • Hospitals, pharmacies and service counters – no cable to trip over
  • Libraries, offices and document handling
