RAM Mounts GDS Uni-Conn Spring-Loaded Tablet Dock + USB-A, Heated Pins (RAM-GDS-DOCK-V12-U1CPDHU) is a universal spring-loaded dock for tablets in an IntelliSkin sleeve fitted with the GDS Uni-Conn adapter (RAM-GDS-U1U), designed for vehicles and workstations. To dock, set the adapter into the octagonal connection point of the top cup, push the tablet upwards and seat its lower edge in the D-shaped bottom cup; power from the 1 m USB-C input cable then reaches the tablet through the pogo pins. An additional USB-A port (500 mA) connects one peripheral device. Heated pogo pins prevent the contacts from icing up and keep the connection reliable in cold environments. For high-vibration or open-cockpit applications such as forklifts or semi-trucks, RAM recommends the snap-in GDS Uni-Conn dock or the GDS Tough-Dock.
