RAM Mounts GDS Uni-Conn Wall Dock with Magnetic Receiver & PoE (RAM-GDS-DOCK-W3-POE) is a magnetic wall dock for tablets in an IntelliSkin Thin-Case fitted with the standard GDS Uni-Conn adapter (RAM-GDS-U1U) – RAM states that the dock works only with this adapter. The receiver swivels through 180°, so the tablet can be docked in landscape or portrait orientation, and the magnets make docking and undocking quick. Power over Ethernet reaches the pogo pins of the Uni-Conn adapter via the included PoE to Power Delivery charging module, which also allows secure software updates while the tablet is docked. The dock is installed over a standard rectangular (US-type) electrical box, which is not part of the delivery – a tidy solution for meeting rooms, nurse stations, shop floors and check-in points.
